What is Electro-Lymphatic Therapy?

Electro-Lymphatic Therapy is a gentle, light touch non-invasive technique to stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system. A combination of vibrational, light, and electrical waves help to stimulate the flow by causing the dissociation of proteins that have become trapped in the interstitium. When trapped proteins (not to be confused with nutrient proteins) release their bond, the stagnant lymph is liberated and will flow out into its normal filtration and reabsorption channels.

The lymphatic system and vessels run alongside the vascular system of the body removing impurities from the blood stream. This therapy supports proper fluid balance throughout the body, enhances immune function, and provides a powerful means of detoxification. All forms of inflammation respond favorably to this therapy.

Certified therapists use the glass transmission heads of the electro-lymphatic therapy machine to direct the flow of lymphatic fluid to the proper drainage channels. The experience is relaxing, yet the cleansing effect can be compared to a jack hammer busting up concrete. This provides a more effective way to clear congestion than standard manual lymphatic drainage due to the actual break down of toxic debris. As well, immune cells can more easily travel to immune compromised areas of the body.

With Electro-Lymphatic Therapy, fibrotic tissue can break down, nutrient absorption can increase, chronic, and acute pain can be dramatically reduced, scar tissue can soften, wounds can heal, edema can recede, anti-aging (beauty) goals can be addressed and a new and improved quality of life can be cultivated.

This technology has been used and improved upon since the 1970s and is now being applied in many areas of medicine and wellness programs including arthritis, Lyme disease, cancer and sports medicine.
